DPM says Mara Inc to ensure no more losses as highlighted in AG Report

PASIR MAS, July 6 — The Rural and Regional Development Ministry will resolve the RM286.3 million loss from Mara Incorporated Sdn Bhd that was highlighted in the Auditor-General’s Report and ensure it does not recur, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Former Mara Inc chairman faces 22 counts of bribery over Australian property deal

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 3 — A former Mara Incorporated Sdn Bhd (Mara Inc) chairman is facing 22 charges for allegedly receiving bribes totalling RM33.45 million from controversial property purchases in Melbourne, Australia.
